Chateaux Salmichele Magaliesburg wild forest raw honey is harvested at the foothills of the mighty Magaliesburg Mountains. The valleys naturally filled with wild multi-flora, indigenous trees and shrubs. Magaliesburg Mountains are one of the oldest in the world. The Magaliesburg Biosphere lies at the interface of two great African biomes – the central grassland plateaux and the sub-Saharan savanna – with remnants of a third, Afromontane forest. Between two mighty mountains of Magaliesburg and Witwatersrand the landscape contains species from each of these biomes and the result is an exceptionally diverse fauna and flora.
